For the purposes of this contract, "We,” "us” and "our” refer to Career Mentors, LLC. "You” and "your” refer to the “client” entering into contract with Career Mentors, LLC and appointing us to do work on your behalf.
Career Mentors, LLC advises that prices are good for 30 days from the time of order placement. Work beyond that date or additional work will be at current prices listed on the Career Mentor, LLC web site when work is requested. Alterations to the scope of work may result in additional fees, which will be discussed and/or disclosed prior to completion of the work.
Client acknowledges that by contracting with Career Mentors, LLC, fees are for the services provided and are non-refundable. 100% of total fees for selected services are required prior to work beginning. Should a client decide to cancel the services they have enlisted Career Mentors, LLC to perform, an administration processing fee of $200 will be applied if work has NOT begun on the project or the resume worksheet has not been sent to client. This is to compensate Career Mentors, LLC for the amount of time spent on their order prior and up to the time of cancellation. The project begins when resume worksheet has been forwarded to client or other activities including telephone calls, briefings, e-mails or facsimiles, etc have taken place. At that time, 100% of the project costs are non-refundable.
When you pay for services or products online, your purchases are secured through the PayPal server. For more information on PayPal's security encryption for purchases and card transactions, please visit the PayPal website.
Turnaround to complete the resume package is 5-10 business days for standard projects. Expanded projects may take longer. This timeframe begins once we receive your completed worksheet or targeted questions. Resume worksheet or targeted questions are to be completed and returned to Career Mentors, LLC within 1 week from the purchase of a package. Information that is incomplete or not received within this timeframe may require additional time to gather essential information and/or data from you which could extend the anticipated completion date. In all instances, Career Mentors requires the entire process to be completed within 30 days without additional charges.
Final proofreading is the responsibility of the client. Fees include a one-time review/revision of document. Changes following initial review/revision will be charged at our standard hourly rate of $100 per hour. Should an error be discovered following initial client review, proofreading, and approval, Career Mentors, LLC will correct and replace the documents at no charge. Additional changes requested that are not included in the original job scope will be charged at our hourly rate of $100 per hour. Additional versions of the resume, cover letter, or other documents will be charged as add-on services at the A La Carte pricing rates in effect at the time of request.
All changes must be requested within 7 calendar days of receiving first draft. Satisfaction is assumed upon acceptance of documents unless client requests modifications within the 7-day period. Should the client decide to address a new employment target not discussed in initial purchase agreement will result in additional fees at A La Carte current price rates.
Client understands and agrees that Career Mentors, LLC will not attempt to confirm or verify information provided by client, and Career Mentors, LLC will not be responsible for accuracy or truthfulness of information provided by Client. Client will hold Career Mentors, LLC harmless from claims by third parties based on any inaccuracy of information in the resume, cover or other documents created by Career Mentors, LLC.
Once the client supplies all appropriate and necessary worksheets and information, Career Mentors, LLC will provide the first draft for the client's review, feedback and correction. All work will be completed in a timely manner subject to acts of God, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond Career Mentors, LLC's control.
Each client is hereby advised that failure of the client to respond within 10 days of the receipt of the first draft will be considered client being satisfied with all work submitted and as a termination of the contract and no further work will be performed client’s behalf. Should the client request services after said termination, additional work by Career Mentors, LLC will incur additional fees.
It is the responsibility of the client, and in the client's best interests, to supply Career Mentors, LLC with all requested information and to work collaboratively to complete a custom package that reflects each individual's style, strengths, and career history. Career Mentors, LLC strongly encourages active client participation in this process to achieve the best outcome possible for all concerned.
Career Mentors, LLC requires that clients complete and send all worksheet, questionnaires, or additional information requests deemed necessary by Career Mentors, LLC to properly prepare all documents, will be sent to Career Mentors, LLC within 10 calendar days so project can be completed in a timely fashion.
Career Mentors, LLC does not guarantee job placement, or employment success. Our clients' successes are directly dependent upon the effort, commitment and diligence they put into fully integrating our resumes and cover letters with their job search strategies. Outcomes and successes are affected by many external variables including market volatility, local and national economies, market saturation for a particular industry, and a client's level of experience, adaptability to workforce changes, skill sets, or continued motivation.
Career Mentors, LLC is not liable for information obtained from a client that is inaccurate or incorrect. Career Mentors, LLC does not research or investigate any information given by the client and assumes the client has been truthful in all areas. Career Mentors, LLC liability is limited to completion of work and assumes no liability after the resume has been proofread by client and client notifies Career Mentors, LLC by e-mail that the work is approved. Should client not confirm acceptance of product(s) or advise of any necessary modifications, within 10 days, the project is considered completed and no further work will be provided.
Career Mentors, LLC is a professional resume writing and career development firm, not a computer instructor. Due to the constantly-evolving nature of computer word processing software and the page alterations that can take place from computer to computer, based on printer and computer recognition, we cannot guarantee client's documents will appear perfectly on every computer screen. Although we take every step to ensure client satisfaction, some issues are beyond our control and may require the client to make adjustments on his/her computer system.
Client understands that if they choose to use their work email, telephone, facsimile or employer's computer for career communications with Career Mentors, LLC they (the client) will be solely responsible for any possible repercussions from such action, up to and including dismissal by their employer. Career Mentors, LLC holds no responsibility for any repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer, surrounding the possibility of their actions being discovered by parties other than the intended recruiters and/or potential employers. It is the recommendation of Career Mentors, LLC that client refrain from using employers communication devices when communicating with Career Mentors, LLC.
Career Mentors, LLC respects your privacy. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Career Mentors, LLC will NOT at any time, either directly or indirectly, use for its personal benefit or disclose, or communicate in any manner any information pertaining to its clients. All client information will be kept strictly confidential. This provision shall remain effective even after the termination of all agreements and projects.
Upon termination of agreements, Career Mentors, LLC will delete all documentation, records or other items that were used or created by Career Mentors, LLC for its clients during the term of our agreement. The completed documents will remain on our system for future updates upon request.
Any information client gives to Career Mentors, LLC will be held with utmost care, and will not be used in ways to which you have not expressly consented. Career Mentors, LLC will ask client when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is needed when you are requesting information or contracting with Career Mentors, LLC services. Personal information collected by Career Mentors, LLC often is limited to email address, state, city or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested. For example, if you choose a service or transaction that requires payment, such as making a purchase enquiry, Career Mentors, LLC will request personal information necessary for billing and/or shipping, such as: name, address, telephone number, and credit card number.
Career Mentors, LLC reserves the right to withdraw or change its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statements at any time. Should we do so, we will revise the "last updated" date at the bottom of the page. If you have questions regarding our Terms & Conditions, please contact us directly.
Career Mentors, LLC is not liable for failure to perform the client's obligations if such failure is as a result of acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), unforeseen accidents, utility service failures, or causes beyond any party's reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including, failure of vendors, partners, or independent subcontractors. Any of the above mentioned issues are not considered reasonable reason to terminate this Agreement.
Career Mentors, LLC retains intellectual property ownership of all work produced. All work is carefully crafted to ensure individuals are marketed effectively using unique criteria based on distinctive characteristics, skill sets, and experience. Clients are permitted to reproduce and use documents but are encouraged not to share their documents with other persons as a template because the individually crafted documents may not be appropriate for others due to differences in skills, experience and other factors.
